In 2017, we set up the Classical Ballet Training Department of the COMPAGNIA NAZIONALE DI DANZA STORICA addressed to children ages 3 to 14 and organized into four levels: Creative Movement, preparatory course for classical-academic dance and two Academic Courses. Master Debora Bianco is the Department’s Director.
Our Courses are designed to disseminate the “culture” of Dance as an art form, which is “expressed” in an elegant, exciting, entertaining and captivating fashion.
Class level placement is based on a combination of age and advancement, and instruction is highly specific. We coach our students in learning about themselves, their inclinations and potential and nurture the gift of expression through “individual” and group movement according to the musically determined dynamic of classical ballet.
Students are “educated” in the technical and behavioral demands of dance in a joyous way. The technique taught at CNDS Classical Ballet Training Division is based on the Italian and Russian classical traditions (Cecchetti, Vaganova and CNDS Methods). Students are given a chance to grow and experience the concepts of “recreation, amusement and emotional discharge” in a healthy manner thanks to an all-round experience that involves their minds and bodies.
